November: Lots to be Thankful for

John and Christie and James all got to fly over from Germany to visit Christie's mom who was having heart trouble. Josh and I came down to Houston to then visit all of the family. I think this was my first time meeting James and Christie - they are all a great family and James is a pretty awesome kid. Thankfully, Christie's mom recovered fine and they had time to go back to Germany where John served in the Army for the past few years.

In the picture, you can also see Josh's dad, mom, brother, and sisters (besides me and Josh).

Another great praise -- Josh earned his last pilot rating at LeTourneau! Now, he can fly single and multiengine airplanes and has an instrument rating. He had quite the tough fall semester with about 26 hours of classes, labs, and flight blocks each week! not counting all of the homework or projects or preparation for cross country flights.
To say the least, he was a busy man, but despite all that he had on his plate, he always took time out for God and to be my husband. I am thankful for such a man of God.
Way to go Josh! I'm proud of you buddy!
