May 28th-May29th, Josh spent the evenings after 5pm taking the major test to become an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic. It took him 16 long hours! (which is the average time) He finished on Saturday at 11pm. Boy, was I happy to see him! Thank you for all of your prayers! God definitely answered them! Many of times, Josh came home and explained how he had seen improvements or been able to do this or that....which were all things that I had been praying for! God is sooo Good! He was by both of our sides throughout this whole process.
For celebration and fun, I made Josh a strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting - one of his favorite desserts. I placed 16 candles on it for him to blow out representing the 16 hours of hard work he just completed! (No, he's not 16 years old, but he still loves to have fun!)

The content man with cake :o)
Now, Josh just has 2 more days of summers school. Right now, he just took one of the class finals and then was going to make up some lab time since he missed two days for our friends' wedding. Friday, he'll be taking 3 written tests to complete his certification to be an A&P mechanic - which will give him the priviledge of working on airplanes. He is definitely ready to be finished with school. And I'm ready to see him more :o)

I'm so glad you started a new blog and I just looked at all of it. I really like the pic of you two in this entry, "the happy and relieved couple" because you look so HAPPY, Emily! And the last picture shows Josh very pleased with the cake. Those 16 candles created quite a glow. We love you!
