A long process of work...

Here is some of the hardware that I got to bag and box up and then unpack with help - I learned some things, but mainly that I'm sick of hardware.. :o)

More engines on stands - all of these were loaded on trucks and driven to the new facility and then unloaded - the guys did this work, thankfully.

Recips lab - this room looks completely different with over 20 new cabinets as well as work tables and everyting unpacked or atleast moved out of this room

To give you more of an idea of the equipment we moved--engine test stands, various types of engines and landing gears as you see below...all of these items are used in the labs - Josh would be able to give you more specific terms - he got to work on them!

Aviation Building at LU

The break room for staff - two weeks ago, we got to have root bear floats here!

I'm thinking this is the conference room, but there is also a board room - so one of those - the chairs are comfy!

An even a shower! Yes, after long cross countries in the airplane - you can get quite stinky and sticky

The workroom - one of my favorite places - I got to pack up the office supplies on campus and then unpack them here and get it all organized - lots more room than what they had before!

The New at LU

LeTourneau's flight department has a new building out by the airport. Now, the flight classes and labs and flight blocks - naturally - will all be located here instead of some on campus. The facility is very large and impressive. It took me about a day walking around it to not get lost. I think they might need arrows posted in each hallway for directions....Well, here is Josh modeling by one side of the building. This entrance is the grand hall as well as a lounge for visitors and down further is Mr. Ritchey's office - the Dean. By the way, for a couple of weeks, Josh and I have helped the flight department move their equipment to this site and set up the various rooms for use in the fall.

The Grand Hall -- The screen is for having chapel at this site for flight students, so they wouldn't always have to return to campus. Nice plane though!
