Biking in Matanuska Lake State Park w/ Mosquitos!

This was our first experience mountain biking in Alaska and my first experience truly mountain biking :o) We went to Matanuska Lake State Park. We biked for about 10 miles! We saw lots of lakes in the midst of a beautiful forest. But yes, lots of mosquitos. We wouldn't trade the experience though! A church friend let me borrow her bike this summer! For which we are grateful!
